With a power of 5000 horsepower, the Devel 16 dream car takes you from Cairo to Alexandria in half an hour at a speed of 586 km
If you’re a fan of high-performance cars, you’ve probably heard of the Devel 16. This supercar is one of the most talked about cars in the automotive world, and for good reason. The Devel 16 is the ultimate dream car for those who crave speed and power.

The Devel 16 is a concept car that is said to have a 5,000-horsepower engine, accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.8 seconds, and reach a speed of 364 mph (586 km/h). That is, it takes you between Cairo and Alexandria in half an hour, and it seems that the car development work has improved in the years 2021/22. It has an announced price of $1.7 million and it looks like the full launch is soon.

The insane, devilish supercar designed by Devel’s crazy engineers has performance stats you’ve never heard of . Let’s take a closer look at the technology behind the car and the engineering feats that make such rapid performance possible.
What makes the Devel 16 insanely fast?
The Devel 16 will be the world’s fastest and most powerful car when it goes into production. Many people scoffed at the idea when the Devil first announced it, saying it was impossible to achieve the promised levels of power and performance.

Critics were put to rest after a first run on the power meter revealed 4,515 hp at 6,000 rpm. They couldn’t run tests at higher rpm because the dynamometer couldn’t handle more than 4,515 hp. Using a dynamometer capable of handling high-powered engines, the next attempt generated 5,007 hp at 6,900 rpm.
This massive production on wheels proves that the Deville’s high power cannot be underestimated. Although it is not a limited edition, only seven examples will be produced each year, and they will be built in the US state of Texas.

History of Devil 16
The #16 Devel masterpiece was unveiled for the first time in the UAE as a prototype car designed by the Al Attar brothers of Devel Motors. Its developers declared it the fastest and most powerful supercar in the world. Until 2018, there wasn’t much progress, and most people thought it was a futile endeavor.

But Majid Al-Attar, the creator of Devil, had no intention of disappointing anyone with his ambitious plans. Despite many obstacles, Devil continued to work on Sixteen. Although there have been delays, it appears that this idea may finally materialize. In 2022, Devil released a video claiming it and showing the production version being tested on public roads. You can look at the video:
Devil 16 production
If you’ve been keeping up with Devel 16 since it was announced in 2013, you’ll know that it has seen some significant developments since then. In fact, the first spy camera “prototype” looked like it was made of wood. While the long wheelbase design may not appeal to everyone, the development of the Devil has given us a car that is more or less like the wild supercar it claims to be.

One of the first things the Devil did to mollify their critics was to travel to Italy to work on the latest car designs with Manifattura Automobili in Torino, Italy. Founded by Paolo Garella in 2014, MAT is known for its involvement in some of the craziest custom car projects ever.
Devel 16 models and prices
Devel Motors has announced three models of the Devel 16 and they are as follows:
| Devil 16 models | Devil 16 prices |
| Devil 16 V8 (2000 HP) | $1.6 million |
| Devel 16 V16 (3000 HP) | $1.8 million |
| Devel 16 V16 (5007 HP) | $2.2 million |
Devil 16 engine
With one of the most powerful car engines, the Devel Sixteen can now compete with Koenigsegg and Bugatti. Before you get to the 5,007-hp power pack, there are two engine options in lower-priced variants. The first option is the Tramar, a V8 engine that roars at 2,000 horsepower. Those numbers don’t sound too bad for the base model.

The next variant is a four-turbo V16, which has the capacity to produce 3,000 horsepower. While the third model, the Devel 16, is powered by a 12.3-liter V16 Quad Turbo engine. The engine produces an incredible 5007 horsepower at 6,900 rpm and 3,757 lb-ft of torque at 6,600 rpm.
This massive output of power is transmitted to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and then distributed to all four wheels. The engine, crankshaft and camshaft are all made from a single block of high-strength stainless steel/aluminum, representing a major mechanical advancement. With 16 high-performance titanium pistons and two valves per cylinder, this engine truly delivers a fabulous output.
Devel 16 maximum speed and acceleration time:
Amazingly, the power output is exactly what the founder and creator of Devel Motors promised. All in all, the Devel Sixteen sixteen-cylinder engine can sprint up to 560 kilometers per hour in less than 50 seconds. Here’s a breakdown of how fast the Devel 16 can go in a matter of seconds:
- Top speed is 586 km/h or 364 mph
- Acceleration time from 0-60 mph: 1.8 seconds
- Acceleration time from 0-100 mph: 2.2 seconds
- Acceleration time from 0-310 mph: less than 50 seconds
The interior of the Devil 16 car
The car feels particularly long and stretched because the body curves around it like each panel is folded over another. When the door latch button is pressed, scissor doors open upwards and rotate on hinges on the roof, fender, and door.

The unique steering wheel, including eight large control buttons evenly spaced across the wheel, is the most eye-catching feature of the Devel 16’s cabin. A large touchscreen on the center console allows the car to control many of its features.

Carbon veneer chairs are provided with flocked floor. Unlike some of its competitors, the cabin is roomy enough to comfortably accommodate two adults. High-quality materials have been used intentionally to provide a sense of luxury and premium finishes, like those found in Rolls-Royce.
Devel 16 performance and aerodynamics details
In terms of structure and aerodynamics, the V16 supercar is equipped with a high-strength, lightweight carbon fiber structure. There is a retractable rear spoiler that deploys in response to the vehicle’s speed. The supercar’s multiple air intakes serve two purposes: to increase the car’s grip on the road and to cool its internal workings.

The supercar makes extensive use of carbon fiber. Everything you see is made of carbon fiber, including body panels, wings, bumpers, etc. This material will provide the supercar with the stiffness needed to handle high speeds.
Devel Motors claims the design of the 16 was influenced by the Jet Fighter and reflects the aesthetic of the hypercar. The Devel 16’s gross weight of 2,300 kg contributes to its impressive power-to-weight ratio, allowing it to reach breakneck speeds. And the Devel 16’s power-to-weight ratio is 1,623.36 W/kg, which is massive.
