The total net exports of new energy vehicles during last July amounted to 54,000 units, an increase of about 90% over last June.
During the first seven months of 2022, China exports 1.51 million cars, and passenger cars were the top exports, while the China Association estimated that car exports to the whole world could exceed 2.4 million units.
China’s battery production rises 175.6% in 7 months

On the other hand, the production of power batteries in China increased during the first half of this year 2022 by 175.6% year on year to 353.7 gigawatt-hours.
Industry data released by the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance showed that between January and July, the production of lithium iron phosphate batteries increased by 135.8 gigawatt-hours, or an estimated 227.1% year-on-year.

The data also indicated that the production of triple lithium batteries reached 99.5 gigawatt-hours, an increase of 121.9% year-on-year.
The data added that during the first seven months of this year, a total of 134.3 gigawatt-hours of batteries were installed for Chinese electric vehicles, which represents an increase of 110.6% year on year, while the production of power batteries during the month of July was 47.2 gigawatts. per hour, up 172.2% year-on-year.
