Sales of GM SUVs increased 26 percent to 62,481 units in the United States during the first quarter of 2021.
All four of GM’s full-size sports
SUV models, the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, and GMC Yukon (and Yukon XL), saw sales growth during the first quarter of 2021. All four models are new. In the 2021 model year, it’s built on the all-new T1 platform, and it all flaunts new exterior and interior trims.

The Tahoe was the best-selling of all four of
GM’s models with 23,038 vehicles delivered, while the Escalade led the group in terms of growth, recording the largest increase of more than 75 percent, enabling the luxury SUV to increase its segment share of 35 to 48 percent.
