Jaguar Classics announced the new and refreshed Jaguar Classic E-Type 60, revealing a list of 12 electronic models of this revamped 3.8-liter model. To celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary sports car, there are just 60 two-wheeled sports cars to be produced worldwide. Each is equipped with a professionally designed SV Bespoke unit, by the most skilled experts.
The E-type was shown for the first time on March 15, 1961, in Geneva, Switzerland, and saw a great deal of audience interaction and numerous driving experiences, forcing Jaguar to quickly bring another convertible from Coventry to Geneva at night.
Pricing details have not been disclosed, but seeing as how the Reborn 3.8-liter E-Type from Jaguar Classic costs £315,000 (about $439,000), you’ll likely have to fork out at least roughly £630,000 ($877,600) for one of the six pairs of the E-Type 60 Collection.

Features of the new Jaguar Classic Collection
The cars feature a one-of-a-kind E-60 design package, developed in collaboration with Jaguar Design Director Julian Thompson, with advanced enhancements, including five-speed transmission and drivability, as well as the Jaguar Classic infotainment system with manual transmission. And advanced navigation via satellite and Bluetooth connections.
A key feature of the custom-designed cars is an engraving by artist and designer King Ner on the center console of each car, and each requires over 100 hours of craftsmanship.
One of the most popular mechanical upgrades is a five-speed manual transmission designed specifically for these vehicles, which features a variety of dimensions, headset attachments and a reinforced aluminum housing for enhanced confidence and protection.
The XK 265 HP 3.8L 6-cylinder engine with electric cooling fan and electronic ignition is used for everyday use, and is similar to its standard counterpart, but has a slightly deeper bass and longer power than mild steel.
Visual enhancements include a custom-designed metal frame by world-renowned artist and sculptor King Nair, and Johnny Doyle designed the 12-inch stainless steel center console with any version of the collection.

Each cover features a black leather signature on a special map showing key locations on Bob Berry’s itinerary, with the words “E-type” on the roof, as well as “I didn’t think you’d arrive,” said Jaguar founder William upon Bob Berry’s arrival. The last time before the vehicle was revealed.
Developed by the Jaguar design team, the commemorative E-Type 60 logo has been added to the center console, bonnet, dashboard and dashboard. The simple beech wood handlebar has a 24 karat gold horn wrench.
Each vehicle is equipped with the E-type 60 badge and packaged in a packing case and an embellished stitched lid, and further improvements will be offered to each of the cars.
In the summer of 2022, the six customers will head out on a road trip with their guests from Coventry to Geneva, enjoying their own memories of the E-Type, and experiencing stunning landscapes, including the iconic and famous trails and footpaths of the Alps>
