Land Rover Classic Defender with V8 Trophy II

British automaker Land Rover has unveiled a limited edition Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II Limited Edition Expedition to celebrate the brand’s legacy of historic off-road exploration and challenges.

It is a unique and rare vehicle, dedicated to adventures, challenges, off-road and exploration.

The car features a camouflaged design inspired by distinctive adventures across 23 different locations on the ground through which the legendary car has passed with a history spanning more than 70 years of adventures and historical challenges off-road.

Land Rover Classic Defender

Classified as a luxury sports SUV, it is one of the best off-road vehicles in the world, characterized by a unique exterior design, with improved high specifications and important updates, and the model is also optimized for off-road driving experience.

Only 25 classic Defenders will be built with a unique exterior camouflage, 20 of which will be inspired by the 90 and 110 station wagon chassis equally, while the last five units will be based on the 110 double-cab pickup chassis design for the first time.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

• The exterior of the Land Rover Trophy appears hidden within the camouflage design, after an improved exterior design, with an elegant, eye-catching Fuji white paint with a Narvik Black roof and glossy black hood.
• It also features a unique camouflage developed with the design team at Land Rur Special Vehicles that shows 23 locations where Land Rover has conquered challenging terrain.
• It also features a custom front grille with an A-shaped protective front frame featuring an integrated lever.
• A full-width 1.27-meter LED light strip is mounted on the bonnet to improve visibility in all terrain conditions at night.
• Other exterior elements include a rear ladder for easier access to the roof, an external roll bar for added body protection, a 500 mm trough depth, a rear recovery point, a rock slide and an external protection cage.
• As well as subtle details such as air vents and the historic Land Rover Trophy badge, it rides on 16- or 18-inch heavy-duty steel wheels in gloss black and off-road tyres.

Interior Design

• The interior continues the same exterior look, as the Limited Edition interior features Recaro sport seats wrapped in black and white Windsor leather with contrast stitching, and the same leather is also found on the dashboard, doors and headliner.
• Land Rover has equipped the new Defender Works V8 Trophy II, with all the latest technologies, including a state-of-the-art Land Rover infotainment system with integrated navigation and mobile connectivity.
• It is joined by a dashboard and bezels, as well as an Elliott Brown watch whose face reflects the car’s camouflaged design.

• The new limited edition Defender Trophy will be offered with a naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine (EU5), with a capacity of 5 liters, producing 405 horsepower and 515 Nm (379 lb-ft) of torque.
• It is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, with all-wheel drive and improved brakes.
• All models will also offer a new, improved suspension kit, with steering improvements and a two-speed transfer case, a heavy-duty front and rear differential, and a torque-biased center differential.

The price of the new limited edition Defender Trophy

• Available now to order directly from the Land Rover Classic, in Britain, the 90 Edition will start at £225,000.
• Prices in the global markets will start from 274,000 dollars.
