2021 New York Auto Show canceled

The 2021 New York Auto Show has been cancelled. Event organizers have indicated health concerns related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 New York Auto Show has been cancelled . For the second time after last year’s edition was canceled , organizers have postponed the show to August to try to avoid the dangers of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. But they have recently had to cancel the fair now due to the increasing number of patients putting pressure on hospitals, the risks that the delta variable COVID-19 may cause and the response to the increasingly stringent measures put in place by state and local officials to limit its spread.

Vale, President of the New York Auto Show, Mark Schenberg: “It is with great disappointment that the upcoming 2021 New York International Auto Show which was scheduled to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center has been canceled due to the increased incidents of the COVID-19 Delta variant, and the recently announced increased measures State and local officials, Schenberg Fei added in a recent statement that he expects the New York Auto Show to rebound and be “bigger and better than before” when it returns to the traditional spring schedule in April 2022.

“As custodians of the 121-year-old New York Auto Show, we are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone including attendees, exhibitors and the thousands of men and women who participated in the show,” added Mark Schenberg, president.
Over the past few weeks, and especially over the past few days, conditions have changed making it more difficult to create the high-level event that we and our customers expect.”

The cancellation of the 2021 New York Auto Show came on the heels of a number of postponements and cancellations of several international shows, as the event was originally scheduled to take place in April of this year, and later in August 2021. Jeep also set up its own stand at the show, as was the company Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Chevrolet, Chrysler and many more are in full swing for their wings at the show, which was canceled a few days before its stay.

“At the beginning of planning for the August fair, we were increasingly excited about the prospect of hosting the event as the number of coronavirus vaccinations in New York continued to rise and the wearing of masks was reduced as the virus spread less in the city,” Schenberg said on Twitter.
“All signs were positive, and the show was meeting stronger than ever, but today is a different story.”

At the moment, it’s not clear what this cancellation will mean for cars like the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe that was chosen as the event vehicle and which was to be revealed for the first time at the show.
Organizers say they “strongly believe” the fair will return in 2022, but will do so within the usual time frame in the spring of next year.

The organizers of the New York auto show announced that the show has been canceled and will not take place in 2021. It had previously been rescheduled for August, a change from its typical place in the calendar in the spring
